Description We are a full-service newspaper distributed by Canada Post to every home In the Leduc County and the County of Wetaskiwin as well as the houses in the City of Leduc and the City of Wetaskiwin.
We are unique in the fact that we are 100% locally owned and operated.
We are also recognized as the official newspaper of both Counties due to the fact that we carry all the legal notices under contract by both county governments. We have also been Identified by Canada Post as a Community Newspaper. This means that we come under the same regulations as mail from the Federal Government. Meaning that our delivery has priority over regular un-addressed ad mail such as circulars and flyers and cannot be refused by the mail recipient. This designation is unique to us in this area.
We are also one of the largest weekly papers In Alberta with a verified (audited) circulation of just over 20,000 papers. Having said that, while our circulation Is 20,168, our actual print and delivery run Is almost 26,000. This difference is due to the fact that circulation audits are conducted every six months and are averaged back, thus the verified numbers lag behind the actual print numbers by almost a year.
Besides being a full-service newspaper, we also do printing including business forms, business cards, brochures, envelopes and various other business related print items.We are open from 9:30 to 5:30, Monday to Friday, and we are closed on holidays.
On our website you are able to buy online subscriptions to our publication for $20 per year. This will also give you access to three months of back issues.
