Come and join the City for our first "Festival of Arts & AGRIculture" celebrating ,what's great about Wetaskiwin! We'll have Art, Crafts, Theatre, Food, Dance and lots of fun. The Date is: September 11th, 2010, from Noon to 7:00PM.
Place: Main Street Wetaskiwin
Free admission. Everyone welcome
If you are interested in having a table the cost is $20.00 and we supply the tables. Come and join us for a great time.

We're excited to be starting our monthly Business Luncheons again after a short summer break.Hopefully you all had a great summer. Our Chamber of Commerce Business Luncheon will be Sept. 27, 2010. There wil be a free Seminar with Continental breakfast from 8:30 - 11:00AM. Speaker will be Colin R. Fetter, Partner, Employment/Labor Practice Group Leader, Brownlee LLP. He will be speaking on the: "Top Ten Reasons to Call Your Employment Lawyers Before You Think You Need Them". Some of the Topics covered will be:
Fixed Term Contracts, Probationary Period, Discipline, Severence/Notice Clauses, Drug and Alcohol Testing, Disabled Employees/Human Rights, and Independent Contractors or Employees.
