Visitor Information Centre

The City of Wetaskiwin has many different virtues that are top notch and very appealing to one who likes to get out into the world and explore its options. Although there is a lot to do, sometimes it can be hard to find the information on what to do and how to get there. Luckily there is a solution to this problem. At the Tourism Information Centre here in Wetaskiwin, we are dedicated to helping you find what it is that you are looking for, you will be able to find everything that you require to have a full vacation or even just a fun filled day trip.

When you first walk in our door, you will be greeted by a smile and a warm welcome from our friendly staff. After that, you will be asked if there is anything that you need assistance with or if there is anything that we would be able to help you find. There are brochures on the mountains, national parks, Central Alberta, Northern Alberta, Southern Alberta, Wetaskiwin, Edmonton, Calgary, various other cities and other areas around the province. All of these contain valuable information about different areas and attractions, and also many of them contain maps of the area.

We carry information on all the provinces, such as accommodation, vacation and campground guides. These can be very useful tools when planning a vacation because they show you all of the most convenient ways to go and stay for your trip, also they will show you all of the interesting things you can do along the way to your destination.

Another thing that the tourism centre does is souvenirs. We sell everything from books on the History of Wetaskiwin to coins, Memory Sticks, and Wetaskiwin mugs. There are golf shirts, t-shirts, books, plates, golf balls, key chains, and post cards all representing our great city.
